Senior Accountant

Job Description Job Description Education: BS in accounting or finance; CPA not required Skills and Experience Required: * MS Dynamics GP Modules: general ledger, financial reporting, accounts payable. Inventory a plus but not required * QuickBooks * Experience with light industrial manufacturing accounting. Cost accounting education a plus * Familiarity with intercompany transactions. Recording intercompany journal entries and reconciling the related intercompany general ledger accounts * Experience and familiarity with California multi jurisdiction sales taxes applied on customer invoices and related sales tax filing and payments on CDTFA website * ADP WorkForce Now * Excel * Word * Comfortable working with PDF and other types of electronic files * Experience and comfort transitioning from paper environment to paperless over the next year * Familiarity and experience with AI assisted automated accounts payable procedures using a 3rd party service * Experience with processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now * Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from doctors and employees Other: * Team player * Embrace changes with new proposed processes and procedures * Looking for improving efficiency in accounting related matters * Comfortable using Teams or Zoom for meetings and communications with other employees * Must be authorized to work in the United States * Motivation to Learn * Willingness to Accept Feedback: Be able to accept feedback and correction without dispute from fellow co-workers and Management. * Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication. You must feel comfortable and professional speaking with other Technicians and Managers.
