Bookkeeping Assistant

We are currently seeking a Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team and support our growing business. Position Overview: As a Bookkeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our company. You will be responsible for assisting our bookkeeper with various tasks related to financial record keeping, including data entry, accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist bookkeeper with daily financial tasks, including data entry, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Prepare and distribute invoices and statements to clients Process payments and deposits Monitor and track expenses and prepare reports for management Assist with payroll processing and employee time tracking Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any billing or payment issues Provide administrative support to the bookkeeper and other members of the accounting team as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information Benefits Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) retirement plan Professional development opportunities Friendly and supportive work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
