Director Table Games

Job Responsibilities The Director of Table Games is accountable for the leadership, management, performance, and operation of the Table Games program, including logistics and team members. This position leads operational strategies, directs and administers policies and procedures, manages internal controls, and oversees annual operating and capital budgets. The Director is responsible for staff development, hiring, and performance evaluations, implements policies to achieve company financial and operational goals, enforces safety rules, owns the department’s P&L, and stays current on gaming regulations. The role collaborates with Casino Marketing to offer appropriate comps and amenities, handles guest inquiries related to RWC, and performs other job‑related duties as requested. Essential Duties / Core Competencies Manage, develop, plan, and implement procedures for efficient operation of Table Games. Develop and manage internal controls for the department. Develop and train staff, conduct interviews, hires, and performance evaluations. Implement policies and programs that support property and company financial and operational goals. Practice, observe, and enforce safety rules and regulations. Own department’s P&L and identify opportunities to minimize expenses. Stay up to speed with all gaming regulations. Collaborate with Casino Marketing to offer appropriate comps and wagering limits. Act as conduit for guest feedback to the Executive Management Team. Respond effectively to guest inquiries related to RWC. Other job related duties as requested. Work / Educational Experience Minimum requirements: Age 18, ability to obtain an appropriate license. Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in the casino industry in a Class III Gaming operations role as a department head or manager, with 5 years managing processes, department level managers, and functions. A four‑year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Experience in a high tax environment is helpful. Essential Requirements Advanced knowledge of field concepts, principles, practices, and procedures. Significant experience creating, tracking, and controlling financial metrics. Strong supervisory and communication skills. Working ability with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to function in a fast‑paced environment under short time constraints and within established deadlines. Strong analytical and listening skills. Self‑motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle and maintain confidential information. Excellent customer service skills. Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts. Work Environment The work environment is typically moderate noise, increasing to loud in back‑of‑house areas. Employees must interact with internal and external guests professionally and be willing to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
