Hybrid 2 days a week onsite 3 days from home **Must have recruiting and some payroll experience Senior HR Generalist Client: Media Company Title: Senior HR Generalist Payrate: $40/hr-$45/hr Contract to Hire Hybrid 2 days a week onsite 3 days from home Senior HR Generalist Job Purpose The Senior HR Generalist will play a hands-on role across recruiting, payroll, employee relations, compensation, and day-to-day HR operations. This position will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to support employees throughout the full HR lifecycle and ensure HR processes are handled effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Recruiting Manage full-cycle recruiting from requisition through offer and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategies. Source, screen, and interview candidates while managing candidate pipelines. Coordinate offers and partner with leadership on compensation. Maintain accurate recruiting and ATS records. Payroll & HR Operations Process semi-monthly payroll, preferably through ADP/ADP TotalSource. Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions. Partner with Finance to ensure payroll accuracy and timely processing. Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data. Support onboarding, offboarding, and other day-to-day HR operations. Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies. Employee Relations & Compensation Serve as a trusted HR partner and point of contact for employee relations matters. Manage employee relations issues, investigations, documentation, and resolutions. Partner with hiring managers and leadership on compensation questions and salary decisions. Support performance management and employee lifecycle discussions. Conduct exit interviews and identify trends or opportunities for improvement. Qualifications 4-6+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally as a Senior HR Generalist or HR Manager. Must have full-cycle recruiting and payroll experience. ADP/ADP TotalSource experience strongly preferred. Strong employee relations experience. Experience partnering with hiring managers and leadership on compensation. Strong HRIS/ATS experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. HR certification is a plus.
