Senior Construction Estimator

Join a growing, industry-leading general contractor specializing in complex healthcare, pharmaceutical, laboratory, cleanroom, manufacturing, and commercial construction projects throughout Connecticut and the Northeast.

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for all CSI divisions
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Identify project risks, opportunities, logistics, and constructability considerations
• Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and scope reviews
• Develop conceptual, budgetary, and hard bid estimates
• Collaborate with project managers and operations teams during project turnover
• Maintain historical cost databases and market pricing information
• Assist in value engineering and alternate pricing strategies

• 7+ years of construction estimating experience (5+ years preferred)
• Experience estimating commercial, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom projects
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Sage Estimating, ProEst, or similar estimating software
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with healthcare renovations, biotech facilities, laboratories, or GMP-regulated environments
• Knowledge of MEP systems and their impact on construction costs
• Familiarity with design-build and CMAR project delivery methods
• Experience with Procore, Sage, and Microsoft Project
• LEED, PMP, or additional construction-related certifications are a plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookfield, CT.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $200000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
