Compliance Manager — BrightPath LLCNew Hope, MN (on-site, with travel across the Twin Cities metro) | Full Time | Quality Assurance | $70,000–$80,000The RoleBrightPath is a Minnesota 245D provider of residential and community-based services for individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges across the Twin Cities metro. Our Compliance Manager is the person who keeps our quality and compliance engine running — reviewing incidents, catching patterns before they become problems, and making sure every program meets or exceeds 245D standards.This is a hands-on role, not a policy-binder job. You'll work inside Therap daily, sit at the table with directors and program managers weekly, and own the corrective action process end to end. If you know 245D cold and you like fixing root causes instead of chasing symptoms, this is your seat.What You'll Actually DoIncident & medication oversight (daily)Review GERs, incident reports, and MAARC/CPS entries; request edits, drive follow-up, and escalate high-risk incidents (injury, restraint, 911, elopement, maltreatment)Monitor medication errors and MAR compliance in Therap, including pharmacy interface and low-supply trackingLead internal investigations when needed and coordinate timely, accurate reporting to state agenciesQuality assurance & pattern analysis (weekly/monthly)Run root-cause analysis on significant or repeated incidents and issue corrective action plans (CAPs) that actually stickReview T-logs and documentation for trends, red flags, and training needsLead BrightPath's Quality Assurance & Compliance meetings with directors and program managers, and report out at weekly GER close-outAudit client paperwork deadlines (ISPs, 45-day and annual plans, revisions) across all programsRegulatory & licensingMaintain expert-level knowledge of Minnesota 245D and related federal requirements; translate regulatory changes into workable policyPrepare for and manage DHS licensing reviews, surveys, and investigationsOversee person-centered plan development and documentation standards for all service typesSystems & relationshipsMaintain and optimize our Therap EHR configuration and compliance trackingTrain and coach staff on documentation requirements — building competence, not fearMaintain relationships with case managers and lead agencies; assist in intake and service review meetingsWhat You'll NeedMinimum 5 years' experience in 245D settings creating and implementing service plansAt least 2 years of direct client oversight in disability servicesDemonstrated expertise in Minnesota 245D regulations and compliance standardsProficiency with Therap EHR and Google WorkspaceValid driver's license and reliable transportation for Twin Cities metro travelBachelor's degree preferred (equivalent experience considered)Bonus Points ForCompliance program oversight or QA leadership experienceInternal audit and root cause analysis backgroundHIPAA, OSHA, and federal healthcare regulation knowledgeDirect experience with DHS licensing reviews and corrective action processesFamiliarity with CADI, DD, BI, CAC, and Elderly Waiver requirementsCHC or CPHQ certificationPay & BenefitsSalary: $70,000–$80,000, based on experience and qualificationsHealth: Medical, dental, and vision insurance (first of the month after 60 days)Retirement: 401(k) with 3.5% company match after one yearTime off: PTO plus Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST); major paid holidaysGrowth: Support for compliance certifications and continuing education, direct mentorship from senior leadership, and a clear runway toward director-level workKnow Before You ApplyOn-call: This position participates in an after-hours on-call rotation for incident response and emergency consultation.
