Responsibilities:

• Meet with customers at their properties
• Evaluate customer needs and recommend practical solutions
• Measure job sites and determine project requirements
• Prepare accurate estimates and professional proposals
• Sell landscaping, drainage, irrigation, lighting, and outdoor improvement projects
• Recommend plants, sod, soil, mulch, stone, and other materials
• Follow up on leads and maintain customer relationships
• Communicate job details to customers and installation crews
• Assist with projects from the initial consultation through installation

Qualifications:

• Five or more years of landscape sales experience preferred
• Experience estimating and selling landscape projects
• Working knowledge of drainage and irrigation systems
• Knowledge of plants and landscape materials
• Strong sales, communication, and customer-service skills
• Ability to measure properties and estimate labor and materials
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple customers and projects
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• No landscape design degree required
