Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job DetailsRole & ResponsibilitiesRecord and apply customer payments (Checks, ACH, wire transfers, credit cards)Address and resolve payment discrepanciesMonitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accountsReconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate AR Aging ReportsMonitor and reconcile daily payment batches with accounting recordsVerify billing details, terms, and account informationPrepare and provide accurate information to customers in a timely mannerMaintain professional and positive relationships with customersManage recurring billing schedules and update customer recordsMaintain accurate documentation in CRM (ACT)Generate AR reports (Aging schedules, collections status)Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and correspondenceMonitor and enforce credit policies and proceduresAssist with audit or compliance documentationQualificationsHS Diploma or equivalent requiredA minimum of two years' experience with AR is preferredProficiency in MS Office 365, V-Look ups and pivot tables is a plusExperience with process improvement initiatives is a plusFamiliarity with AR automation tools and payment processing platformsSkills & AbilitiesAbility to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a teamWhat's in it for you?At the H&S Family of Bakeries, we value our team members and make it a priority to offer competitive compensation that encourages longevity with the company and long-term growth.
