Accounting Director

Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential. The Accounting Director will oversee all accounting functions, financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls for our client, a growing manufacturing company in Gwinnett County. This role partners closely with operations and executive leadership to drive profitability, improve processes, and ensure financial accuracy. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, AR/AP, payroll, and fixed assets Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage cost accounting functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation Partner with operations to analyze production costs, margins, and efficiency metrics Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations Coordinate audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors Drive process improvements and ERP system optimization Supervise and mentor accounting staff Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field #J-18808-Ljbffr jobr.pro
