Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Conduct engaging group therapy sessions that encourage clients to share experiences and support one another, fostering community and healing.

• Individual Counseling: Provide tailored therapy sessions that explore clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, assisting them in developing personalized coping strategies and action plans.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create detailed, individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals and support their journey towards recovery.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track clients’ progress and adapt treatment strategies based on feedback and outcomes, ensuring the effectiveness of interventions.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care, discuss complex cases, and provide holistic support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 who are experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety and depression. Your role will involve being a supportive guide as they navigate their challenges, inspire hope for recovery, and empower them to achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current LMHC licensure in New York State is required for this role.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor with clients facing mood disorders and related challenges is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
