Robert Half is partnering with a national corporation in Portland, OR to identify a Contracts Manager who is ready to IMMEDIATELY jump in to assist and possibly join their team. This position is contract with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full contract lifecycle for a range of commercial documents, including sales agreements, supplier contracts, purchase-related agreements, vendor terms, and nondisclosure agreements.
• Review incoming requests from departments such as sales, purchasing, marketing, and human resources, and provide timely guidance on contractual language and risk considerations.
• Prepare, revise, and redline agreements to align with business objectives, legal standards, and internal compliance expectations.
• Proofread contract documents carefully to improve accuracy, consistency, and clarity before final review and execution.
• Maintain spreadsheets and other tracking tools to monitor contract status, key terms, deadlines, and related data points.
• Analyze contract information and organize documentation to support reporting, prioritization, and decision-making within the legal team.
• Assist with regulatory and policy-related review to help ensure agreements meet applicable compliance requirements.

• Experience handling commercial contracts, including drafting, review, negotiation, and ongoing administration.
• Knowledge of contract risk assessment, redlining practices, and contract compliance principles.
• Prior experience supporting contract matters within a manufacturing or similarly complex business environment.

 

The salary range for this position is $45-55/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
