What You'll Do

• Provide advanced neonatal care in a brand-new, Level I nursery with approximately 600 deliveries annually
• Conduct daily rounds on newborns and attend deliveries as needed
• Manage, stabilize, and facilitate transport of newborns requiring higher-level care to nearby NICUs
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of 4 NNPs and support staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital protocols for neonatal care
• Contribute to a supportive and innovative healthcare environment in Belmont, NC

What You Need

• Valid and current NNP Board Certification (no FNP/PNP accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Neonatal NP experience (excluding RN experience)
• Excellent clinical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and leadership skills

About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Belmont, North Carolina, scheduled to open a new 10-bed Level I Nursery in late 2024. This state-of-the-art unit will serve a diverse patient population, offering an exciting opportunity for seasoned NNPs to lead neonatal care in a supportive environment. You'll work alongside experienced neonatologists and NNPs, with opportunities to support supplemental shifts at nearby NICUs.
