Job Description
Title
Instrumentation Coordinator - Sterile Processing

Schedule
2nd Shift - 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday-Friday; occasional scheduled holidays

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing or relevant field
- Required certification: CRCST or CSPDT
- Preferred certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA
- Experience with decontamination, manual/automated cleaning, instrument/tray assembly and standardization, sterilization processes (Sterrad and steam), high-level disinfection, and endoscope reprocessing

Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the decontamination, assembly, and packaging of instruments
- Manage sterilization and sterile storage processes
- Act as an OR liaison and coordinate case cart needs
- Ensure proper tracking and allocation of instruments across the health system
- Utilize specialized sterilization equipment and maintain compliance with standards

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine is required (medical exemptions only)
- Candidates must complete fingerprints immediately after contract signing
- Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or supervisor
