Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Gardner, MA. Start 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,033–$2,141. Guaranteed hours: none. Evening shift 3:00 pm–11:30 pm (40 hours per week), every other weekend and holiday. This travel - temporary assignment is in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Assess and reassess patient status; plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions and patient goals.
- Provide direct patient care per standards of care, protocols, and procedures; document thoroughly and accurately.
- Deliver patient and family teaching based on identified learning needs; assist with discharge planning and resource coordination.
- Appropriately delegate and supervise nursing interventions performed by others; collaborate with the care team and coordinate services.
- Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders; perform medication reconciliation and monitor responses.
- Interpret cardiac rhythm and initiates appropriate treatment plans per provider orders; manage pain using appropriate devices and therapies.
- Maintain safety and quality by recognizing risks, reporting incidents, and addressing ethical issues in care.
- Uphold professional standards of behavior and contribute to ongoing learning for colleagues (e.g., precepting, training, or participating in professional development).

Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN license
- ACLS upon hire OR active BLS card and obtain ACLS within 60 days of hire (AHA ACLS within 60 days if not current)
- PALS preferred
- Minimum education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum work experience: Med/Surg (1 year) preferred; Telemetry (1 year) preferred; Pediatrics (1 year) preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and in the listed shift
