Key Responsibilities\n

• Build and maintain a positive, trusting therapeutic rapport with patients that facilitates open and honest communication.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and treat an array of mental health disorders, using standardized diagnostic tools and client interviews.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient, adjusting as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions with individuals and couples, utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic modalities to encourage emotional and psychological healing.

• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring each session’s outcomes are accurately recorded to inform future treatment decisions.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals by referring clients to specialists when additional treatment is required, thus ensuring comprehensive care.

• Provide guidance and support to clients dealing with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, integrating specialized training to enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve come from various backgrounds and face diverse challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role as an LMFT is crucial in helping these individuals and families understand their experiences, develop coping strategies, and foster healthier relationships. Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques specific to addiction counseling and co-occurring disorders.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
