Your Role

• Conduct a variety of routine and complex laboratory tests across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, always adhering to established protocols.
• Scrutinize results for integrity, address discrepancies, and ensure optimal functioning of laboratory equipment through preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in specimen collection when needed, preparing samples meticulously for testing to ensure reliable outcomes.
• Keep accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures, engage in training new team members, and contribute to lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe lab environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• An ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is expected to be obtained within your first year.
• Commit to maintaining your certification throughout your employment.
