As an Administrative Assistant at LJA Business Solutions, you will be responsible for support for day-to-day activities of the various workgroups.
A typical day might include:
- Assists with organizing department initiatives, events, and leadership meetings as required
- Manage and maintain the Corporate Controller's calendar, including scheduling meetings, prioritizing conflicts, and coordinating across departments
- Organize and prepare materials for meetings, including agendas and supporting documentation
- Makes travel, conference and seminar arrangements (flights, hotels, transportation, itineraries)
- Assists with travel expense reports and documentation as needed
- Draft, format, and distribute communications to the accounting department on behalf of the Controller
- Assists with ordering routine supplies for accounting department
- Assists with scheduling conference rooms for meetings and setup of beverages and food
- Handles administrative tasks as and when required
- Other tasks, as assigned
Associates Degree preferred or experience in industry
- 2+ years of experience
- Strong Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint knowledge
- Must be dependable and possess sense of urgency
- Previous experience in an engineering consulting firm strongly desired
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment; ability to accurately work under pressure in meeting deadlines
