Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status and history to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based approaches that resonate with diverse client needs.

• Regularly monitor client progress during therapy sessions and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to client care that addresses all aspects of an individual’s wellbeing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of patients struggling with various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Adopting a person-centered approach, you will utilize culturally sensitive therapies to foster an understanding of each client’s unique background and experiences, ultimately enhancing their treatment and recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• At least four years of related professional experience in mental health counseling.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure during high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
