Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health by utilizing evidence-based tools and techniques during initial consultations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from adolescents to adults who present with a diverse array of mental health concerns, including but not limited to mood disorders, addiction-related challenges, trauma, and relationship issues. As a counselor, you will play an integral role in addressing and alleviating the emotional struggles faced by individuals from varied cultural backgrounds, incorporating cultural competence into your therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health counseling in varied settings.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to provide both individual and group therapy while employing inclusive and culturally responsive practices.

• Exceptional crisis management skills and the ability to operate effectively under stress.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling rapport-building with diverse client populations.

• Competency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate documentation and data management.
