You will engage in regular meetings with the Medical Director and team to coordinate treatment approaches and share insights, creating a seamless care experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to coordinate and optimize mental health treatment strategies both within the facility and externally.

• Conduct in-service training sessions for medical, psychiatric, and security staff on mental health topics as needed.
\n
• Respond to and manage mental health crises within the clinic, employing de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety and well-being.
\n
• Represent the organization in commitment hearings and provide expert testimony when contracted to do so.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans and therapeutic goals tailored to each patient's unique needs and circumstances.
\n
• Maintain thorough documentation of all patient interactions and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations regarding medical records.
\n
• Verify and review patients’ mental health histories, including past psychotropic medication use, to inform treatment decisions.
\n
• Prepare routine and special reports as requested, highlighting patient progress and program efficacy.
\n
• Collaborate with nursing and mental health teams to arrange referrals and continue care post-release.

Compensation and Benefits\n
