You will collaborate closely with both the Medical Director and the clinical staff, utilizing telehealth technologies and other digital tools to engage with patients, conduct assessments, and implement treatment plans. Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Medical Director and/or Medical Team Administrator to develop and coordinate comprehensive mental health treatment plans both within the clinic and externally.

• Conduct in-service training for medical, psychiatric, and security staff to enhance their understanding of mental health issues.
\n
• Actively de-escalate mental health emergencies by applying crisis intervention techniques and ensuring appropriate support is in place.
\n
• Participate in commitment hearings when necessary to advocate for patient needs and ensure they receive the appropriate care.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to the unique needs of patients.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all patient contacts, assessments, and treatment interventions.
\n
• Verify and review mental health histories, including any prior treatments and medication regimens to inform current care plans.
\n
• Prepare both scheduled and special reports to communicate patient progress to relevant stakeholders.
\n
• Work collaboratively with nursing and other mental health staff to facilitate effective post-release referrals to community resources.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Healing Garden, you will support a diverse patient population that includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your role will be vital in guiding patients through their healing journeys and helping them develop coping strategies and resilience before, during, and after their treatment phases.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of experiential background in a counseling role, ideally in a clinical context.

• Specialized training in therapeutic disciplines such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
