Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LPC at BWL Mental and Behavioral Center, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing rapport and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, stability, and treatment plans, addressing any necessary adjustments.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment plans with clients that are centered on their individual needs and goals.

• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and intake assessments using established clinical systems.

• Facilitate weekly individual therapy sessions and group therapy as appropriate, fostering a safe and supportive environment for healing.

• Engage in individual supervision sessions to reflect on case management and enhance clinical skills.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will primarily concentrate on youth clients, emphasizing a trauma-informed approach to therapy that is attentive to the unique challenges faced by this demographic. Whether addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, or substance use, the clinician will work to empower clients through a supportive therapeutic relationship that prioritizes their individual experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credentials.

Compensation and Benefits\n
