This role is primarily remote, leveraging telehealth technology to deliver high-quality mental health services to youth in Houston, Texas. Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of youth clients, establishing rapport and maintaining professional boundaries to create a safe therapeutic space.

• Conduct regular sessions to assess progress, review treatment plans, and revise goals collaboratively with clients.

• Develop and implement person-centered treatment strategies tailored to each client's unique needs, and continuously monitor their efficacy.

• Perform thorough intake assessments to understand client backgrounds and tailor initial treatment plans accordingly.
\n
• Document all client interactions meticulously, maintaining accurate and timely progress notes that meet compliance standards.
\n
• Engage in individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and ensure accountability in practice.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and improve overall client outcomes.
\n
• Adopt a growth mindset by participating in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on providing mental health support to youth, who face various challenges such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. The clinician will work closely with families to ensure a holistic approach, engaging them in treatment and supporting long-term mental health resilience among young clients.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field; current LPC licensure in Texas is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of telehealth modalities and ability to adapt practices to online platforms.
\n
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster strong client relationships.
\n
• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements for telehealth service provision.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year’s experience working with psychiatric or substance abuse populations, preferably with youth.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments and diagnosing mental health conditions.

• Experienced in both individual and group therapy settings with a focus on evidence-based practices.

• Proven ability to utilize technology such as electronic health records (EHR) systems and teleconferencing tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
