Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and positive working relationships while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess progress, discuss upcoming appointments, and develop discharge plans as needed.

• Collaborate with clients to develop, implement, and continuously monitor person-centered treatment plans, ensuring each individual’s unique needs are addressed.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation, including progress notes, to accurately reflect each client’s journey.
\n
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to gauge client needs and establish baseline data.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, employing various evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client.

• Engage in regular individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and ensure best practices.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to create an integrated approach to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on a diverse youth population, including children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. The ideal candidate will employ therapeutic techniques that resonate with younger clients and their families, promoting engagement and positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current and active licensing as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• Demonstrated ability to meet internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.

• Strong foundational understanding of mental health assessment and diagnosis.
\n
• Experience with individual and group therapy approaches in clinical settings.

• Proficient with technology, particularly in managing electronic health records and telehealth platforms; basic keyboarding skills required.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
