Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients, identifying their mental health needs and creating tailored treatment plans.

• Provide therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families using evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic client care, coordinating effectively with healthcare providers and support staff.

• Maintain precise and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes individuals and families who frequently face barriers to accessing mental health services. The counselor will work with diverse populations, addressing a range of conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and relationship challenges. This position requires sensitivity and awareness of the unique experiences of our clients, many of whom may have historically faced systemic challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LPC license to practice in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, depending on experience and caseload. Counselors will also obtain malpractice insurance and receive support for billing and documentation to ease administrative burdens.
