Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Wellness Recovery & Counseling Centers, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized therapy strategies tailored to the diverse needs of clients.

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to develop effective treatment plans.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborating with other mental health professionals, including psychologists and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive and holistic client care.

• Maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines while ensuring confidentiality.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development and attending workshops to stay up-to-date on the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse issues, and relationship difficulties. You will play a crucial role in improving their emotional well-being and helping them navigate personal obstacles. By utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques, you will foster a safe and supportive environment, allowing clients to express themselves freely and work towards their goals.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within the counseling profession.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to provide comprehensive client care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, additional experience or specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is also a plus, as it enhances documentation efficiency within our practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. In addition to a substantial sign-on bonus for new LPCs, you will also benefit from:
