Assistant Controller

Company Hiring: Our client is an employee focused, growing specialty contractor covering Upstate NY The Job: As Assistant Controller, you will be an integral part of the accounting process and a hands-on leader to work with the Controller to strengthen day-to-day accounting, project and job-cost reporting, manage cash flow as well as ensure strong internal controls are maintained. Key attributes for Success:
• Construction and project-based accounting experience including AIA billing management
• Highly organized and able to evaluate and report on all project activity accurately to ensure effective cash flow
• Oversee and develop staff for future growth within company
• Strong systems and reporting skills Minimum Requirements:
• 5-7 years of project or construction accounting experience
• BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA a+
• Advanced Excel
• 2+ years supervisory experience Salary: $110k+ excellent benefits/bonus Job Style: On-Site IND 123
