Job Title Physical Therapist I, Correctional Facility Location California Health Care Facility (CHCF), Stockton, CA, San Joaquin County Job Description and Duties Under the clinical direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the direct administrative supervision of the Chief Support Executive or Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II, the Physical Therapist I, CF administers physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility. The therapist interprets the significance of physical therapy services to patients, complies with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations, and follows departmental policies and procedures pertaining to the physical therapy program. The Physical Therapist I, CF maintains order, supervises the conduct of the incarcerated, and ensures the safety of persons and property and the security of working areas and work materials. Minimum Qualifications Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of physical therapy in California as determined by the California Medical Board. Completion of the examination required for eligibility for the Physical Therapist I, CF position.
