Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and individualized clinical assessments using solution-focused interventions to craft tailored treatment plans that cater to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Implement diverse therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), while also integrating other effective modalities as clinically indicated.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and care continuity.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, participating actively in regular case consultations and team meetings to improve care outcomes.

• Engage with patients and their families, providing education about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources, enhancing their understanding of the therapeutic process.

• Continuously pursue professional development by staying informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client demographic, including individuals facing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• Strong understanding of solution-based psychotherapy interventions and techniques, allowing for responsive and customized care for clients.
