Job Title: Production Helper Job Description
Join a dynamic manufacturing team in Greenfield as a Production Helper on the 1st shift. Contribute to the production process by assisting with various tasks essential to maintaining the flow of operations.
Responsibilities

• Assist operators with manually moving materials, including stacking, loading, unloading, and staging.
• Conduct visual inspection of in-process materials to ensure quality standards are met.
• Wrap and unwrap products efficiently.
• Read and adhere to production work orders accurately.
• Place tags and labels on finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, manufacturing, or general labor.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting and manual labor.
• Proficiency in material handling and inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with hand tools, loading and unloading processes.
• Experience with packaging and construction.
• Forklift experience is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility equipped with overhead cranes and industrial machinery. The facility operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with potential overtime extending to 4:00 PM. Voluntary Saturday shifts are available, and you will be notified by Wednesday each week if additional staffing is needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
