Special Education Teacher – Middle School Resource Room
Location: Ecorse, MI
Term: Immediate Start – June 25
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday
Caseload: Middle School | Resource Room (Onsite)
We are hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher for an immediate opening supporting middle school students in a Resource Room setting in Ecorse, Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and academic intervention for middle school students in a resource room setting.
Draft, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
Conduct progress monitoring and hold annual IEP meetings.
Requirements:
Licensure: Active Michigan Special Education Teaching Certificate (appropriate endorsement for middle school resource room).
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
