Key Responsibilities\n

• Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, ensuring a supportive environment that fosters trust and healing.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, evaluating for suicidality and risk factors, and develop individualized treatment plans accordingly.
\n
• Participate actively in the admission process for new patients, providing a welcoming approach and conducting admission assessments with professionalism.
\n
• Engage with the weekly treatment team to share progress and refine treatment goals, ensuring all team members are aligned in their approach to patient care.
\n
• Conduct utilization reviews, collaborating with insurance companies to secure necessary authorizations for care, and maintain constant communication regarding patient progress.
\n
• Ensure timely communications with family members or loved ones, returning calls and emails promptly within two hours during operational hours and within 24 hours at other times.
\n
• Coordinate closely with the Utilization Review and Business Departments on authorizations and payments, ensuring seamless transitions in care.
\n
• Initiate discharge planning immediately upon admission, including discharge sessions to ensure patients and families understand coping strategies and follow-up care.
\n
• Handle crises effectively during therapy sessions, providing support and guidance to both patients and milieu staff to maintain safety and high clinical standards.
\n
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and on time, reflecting the high quality of care expected in every interaction.

Your clients will come from diverse backgrounds, reflecting the myriad challenges facing individuals in today's society. You will work with clients experiencing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program.

• An independent license in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is necessary to practice in this role.

• A demonstrated ability to manage a significant caseload while working with various support staff and integrating into the larger clinical community.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
