Job Title: Clean Room Assembler Job Description

The Clean Room Assembler performs a variety of production tasks, from repetitive to non-repetitive work, to assemble component parts into sub-assemblies and finished units while following clearly defined standard operating procedures. This role operates in a clean room environment, uses microscopes and other tools to complete precise assembly work, and may conduct in-process quality inspections to ensure products meet established specifications. The position works under close supervision, with all work reviewed for accuracy and any deviations approved before proceeding.

• Assemble component parts into sub-assemblies and completed units by following standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Perform both repetitive and non-repetitive production tasks with a high level of attention to detail and consistency.
• Use microscopes and other basic tools or equipment to carry out precise clean room assembly tasks.
• Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with defined quality specifications and guidelines.
• Follow all documented standard operating procedures and scientific methods while completing assigned tasks.
• Maintain required licenses, training, and certifications needed to perform work in the clean room and production area.
• Adhere to all quality, safety, and clean room protocols, including proper handling of materials and equipment.
• Work on basic and routine assignments under close supervision, seeking approval from a supervisor for any deviations from normal processes.
• Accurately document work performed as required by procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area within the clean room environment.

• Experience in assembly or warehouse environments.
• Ability to perform clean room assembly tasks following detailed standard operating procedures.
• Basic skills in using microscopes or similar magnification tools for detailed work.
• Ability to apply basic production and assembly techniques to complete routine tasks.
• Capability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Willingness to work under close supervision with all work subject to review.
• Ability to adhere to strict quality guidelines and clean room standards.

This role is based in a clean room production environment with defined quality and safety standards. You will work under close supervision, following standard operating procedures and scientific methods for all tasks. The work involves routine and basic assignments with frequent use of microscopes and other standard assembly tools. The environment requires adherence to clean room protocols, which may include wearing appropriate protective attire and maintaining a clean and organized work area throughout the shift. Work is structured and process-driven, with all tasks reviewed for accuracy and any process deviations requiring supervisor approval.

This is a Contract position based out of West Springfield, MA.

The pay range for this position is $17.65 - $19.40/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
