- Source and procure MRO supplies and services in alignment with operational needs and budget constraints.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and delivery terms.
- Maintain and update records of purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and maintain inventory levels.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement strategies to achieve them.
- Resolve supply chain and vendor-related issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.
The Successful Applicant A successful MRO Buyer should have:
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Knowledge of MRO supplies and their applications is a plus.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.
- Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $670,000 USD annually.
