Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with patients across Arizona. Our work environment is flexible and collaborative, allowing therapists to engage with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and specialized counselors. The role encompasses weekday hours, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility will be necessary to accommodate the varied needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and identify ideal treatment strategies.

• Utilize advanced therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) effectively in therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a space for patients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other members of the healthcare team to ensure holistic and integrated care for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support to patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and stabilization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and competencies in trauma-informed approaches.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a patient-focused and non-judgmental approach.

• Capability to remain level-headed and effective in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with telehealth applications.

• A genuine commitment to collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience as a mental health counselor is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
