We are looking for a detail-oriented and approachable Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations in Virginia. This Contract position will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping create a positive and organized office experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a busy phone system, handling incoming inquiries efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming presence throughout the workday.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests and direct them to the appropriate staff members or departments in a courteous and timely manner.
• Manage a multi-line telephone system, routing incoming calls accurately and taking clear messages when needed.
• Respond to inbound phone inquiries with courtesy while providing helpful information or forwarding requests appropriately.
• Maintain an orderly reception area to ensure a welcoming environment for visitors and employees.
• Support day-to-day administrative tasks such as basic record handling, message distribution, and general front-office coordination.
• Monitor front-desk activity and help ensure smooth communication between visitors, callers, and internal teams.• Prior experience in a receptionist or front-desk support role.
• Ability to operate a multi-line phone or switchboard system with confidence and accuracy.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a courteous telephone manner.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls while staying organized.
• Strong customer service skills with a courteous and welcoming approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced office setting.
