In this role, you will balance operational performance, customer satisfaction, safety, and compliance while supporting branch financial goals and building strong relationships across the community.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the performance and execution of assigned Controls and Mechanical Installation delivery teams.Support revenue forecasting, billings, collections, resource planning, and cost control for the branch.Assign projects and coordinate the engineering, commissioning, and mechanical resources needed to deliver them.Manage installation scheduling, equipment backlog, and key dates such as want dates and ship dates.Set clear goals and development plans for direct reports and support performance and salary management processes.Recruit Project Team Leaders, System Team Leaders, Lead Systems Specialists, Project Engineers, and Equipment System Application Engineers with the right skills for branch needs.Ensure estimating and engineering standards are applied consistently and effectively.Follow up on customer satisfaction issues and drive timely resolution.Support annual strategic and financial operating planning with senior leadership.Build and maintain relationships with contractors, customers, consultants, and subcontractors in the community.Review and interpret contract terms and conditions with project and sales teams.Coach teams on project risk management, conflict resolution, and project recovery planning.Promote the securing of change orders and support strong project execution.Ensure compliance with the Safety Program and with state, local, federal, and legal requirements.How You Will Do ItOwn outcomes with accountability by setting clear expectations, following through on commitments, and making safety and integrity part of every decision.Stay close to work by understanding project realities, removing obstacles quickly, and helping teams respond to customer and delivery needs.Improve every day by using candor, practical problem-solving, and disciplined follow-up to reduce slippage and strengthen performance.Win as one team by building trust across internal partners, field teams, contractors, and customers, and by valuing diverse perspectives when solving problems.Use operating data such as backlog, collections, productivity, and resource demand to guide priorities and keep work moving.Coach and develop people in a way that supports both branch goals and individual growth.What We Look ForRequiredBachelor's degree or associate degree construction, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience.At least seven years of progressively more responsible project leadership experience in the building construction industry.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to negotiate effectively, work in a matrix environment, negotiate and handle conflict resolution situations.Experience with MS Project and MS tools.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Ability to travel based on geographical locations.Hiring Salary Range: $103,000 - $155,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
