Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

BJC West - Saint Lukes North Hospital - Barry Road Campus

Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit

Shift/ratios: 1:5 days/nights/weekends. Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Contract Length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per week.

Minimum 2 years RN experience required. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required. Experience with telemetry monitoring, post-cardiac care, and various clinical procedures preferred. Epic experience preferred.

Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a progressive care environment. Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry data for any abnormalities. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed). Travelers may need both Kansas and Missouri licensure or a compact license at time of submission. Max 7 days for Request Time Off; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission.
