Our client is a thoughtfully built boutique serving as outside general counsel to emerging companies in the life sciences and technology sectors. Led by an accomplished partnership, this is an opportunity to work alongside ex–Big Law-trained attorneys in an environment that values sophisticated work, practical judgment, and sustainable success.
This platform offers the caliber of practice many attorneys seek, without defaulting to the assumption that career growth must come at the expense of life outside the office.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience handling commercial and technology contracts at a top national or international firm, an elite (Chambers-ranked) boutique, or a sophisticated in-house legal department.
This role offers direct client exposure and long-term growth within a firm that has intentionally built a more balanced model — including a 1,500 billable benchmark, with bonus eligibility beginning at 1,300 hours.
Representative Work
- Review, draft, and negotiate operational, commercial, and technology agreements for life sciences and technology companies
- Software licensing and SaaS agreements
- Manufacturing and supply agreements
- Research & development agreements
- Intellectual property licensing
- Sales and distribution agreements
- Participate directly in contract negotiations
- Collaborate with clients and subject matter experts to align contracts with business objectives, regulatory frameworks, and compliance considerations
