Executive Sous Chef Salary: $80,000 / Yr. – $90,000 / Yr. Job Summary As an Executive Sous Chef at Datadog, you will play a key role in supporting successful culinary operations with a strong emphasis on commissary and catering services. This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, primarily daytime hours, with occasional evening catered events. Key Responsibilities Support and execute daily culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and service. Deliver exceptional guest and client experiences through high-quality food and presentation. Lead, train, and manage a culinary team to ensure consistency, efficiency, and engagement. Partner with culinary and marketing teams to roll out new culinary programs and concepts. Assist with cost controls, including inventory management, ordering, and waste reduction. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall operational success. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities. Background in fine dining, restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, or higher education food service. Strong knowledge of food trends, production techniques, sanitation standards, food safety, cost controls, and presentation. Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development skills. ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred. Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, and comfort using technology in daily operations.
