Lead Site Specialist - 1st Shift

Lead Site Specialist position directing daily laboratory operations and a small team at a contract service facility. Oversees order management, material handling, and various lab support functions while managing employee lifecycle and customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily workflow for on-site lab specialists team and manage employee selection, training, and performance
- Oversee order management, stockroom, dock, procurement, material handling, and chemical tracking operations
- Serve as liaison between customer and Thermo Fisher; coordinate vendor visits and identify cost savings
- Implement standard operating procedures, conduct site audits, and support safety and process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years progressive material handling or related experience
- GMP experience and demonstrated competency
- Leadership and strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems
- Ability to lift 30-40 pounds consistently, 50 pounds occasionally
Compensation: $23.04-$31.70 per hour
