Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a contract opportunity supporting K-12 students, with a primary focus on K-6, in a vibrant educational environment near Lancaster, PA. This position is scheduled for the 2026-2027 school year, from August 20, 2026, through May 28, 2027. Work full-time, 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, carrying a manageable caseload of about 35 students. You'll also enjoy the flexibility of one work-from-home day each week.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Special Education - Speech and Language Impaired PK-12, or an Educational Specialist Certificate for School Speech and Language Pathologist PK-12 (required)
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA-CCC) and a valid Pennsylvania license are preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student success
- Document and report progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Offer consultation and support to classroom teachers for inclusive practices
