Information Technology Specialist IIThis position requires leadership and expertise in the Software Engineering and Systems Engineering domains. This position plays a major role in advising management and formulating information technology strategy and policy within the CHP. The Information Technology Specialist II will perform a wide variety of software development tasks requiring innovative problem-solving and a high level of technical expertise in software development principles and methodologies. This is a full stack developer position responsible for writing code, performing software deployments, and conducting release management activities for the CalCrash project. The Information Technology Specialist II will define and design software solutions; create and lead the design of new system architecture; troubleshoot, track, and conduct root cause analysis of software, database, and operational issues; and serve as a mentor, code reviewer, and lead technical architect. This limited-term position may be extended up to a maximum of 24 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent.You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement.
