Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Colorado (CO) SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience working in a school setting, preferably with an elementary caseload
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of district and state guidelines for school-based SLPs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records, including assessments, therapy notes, and reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team planning
• Provide consultative support to school staff regarding language and communication challenges
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
