Location Platte Valley Agg CO Role Overview The Foreman is responsible for the daily aggregate activity and operations for their specific area. What You'll Accomplish Oversee the overall safety of all personnel working at or visiting the site. Ensure conformance with policies and procedures, safety regulations, and local, state and federal laws. Coordinate tasks according to priorities and execute daily production plans efficiently. Allocate general and daily responsibilities. Coordinate and monitor plant activities, including maintenance of equipment. Support and assist personnel in achieving timely and efficient production schedules. Ensure manpower and resources are adequate. Ensure proper documentation of operations activities in logs and/or incident reports. Ensure operators of stationary and mobile equipment are adequately trained to perform tasks safely. Act as a go-to resource for troubleshooting plant malfunctions, SAP and other special needs. Escalate employee relations and serious plant issues to Production Supervisor and/or Plant Management for resolution. Report on progress to Quarry Supervisor with dotted line report to Production Supervisor. Willing to work a flexible schedule as business needs change. What We're Looking For Required Education: High School diploma/GED Required Work Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Demonstrated leadership abilities Strong oral and written communication skills Additional Requirements Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees required to wear respirators must be clean. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
