Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
• At least two years of recent experience in the field: Required

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards.
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Provide health information and learning opportunities for patients and families.
• Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
• Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members as appropriate.
