You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the monthly close process, while gaining exposure to core accounting functions and collaborating with a supportive, high-performing team. What you’ll do You’ll support core accounting operations with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement. Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and support general ledger activity Ensure financial data is complete, accurate, and aligned with accounting standards Reconciliations & close support Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger accounts Support the monthly and year-end close process Investigate discrepancies and resolve variances in a timely manner Financial reporting & analysis Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting needs Contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting Audit, compliance & process improvement Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to requests Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency Expense management & cross-functional support Review and process expenses, ensuring proper allocation and identifying cost savings opportunities Collaborate with internal teams to provide accounting support and insights Contribute to special projects and ad hoc initiatives as needed What you’ll bring (Required) Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP) Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
