Director, Strategic Accounts | Hybrid

We are hiring a director of account management (strategic accounts) to lead B2B strategic planning and team support of the strategic account managers. The role requires in‑office presence in Atlanta, Georgia. What You Will Do Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing account management team Set clear performance goals and provide feedback and coaching Assist account managers in building successful partnerships between Purchasing Power and assigned clients Plan and deliver support programs for the team and guide performance improvements Optimize and manage relationships with our largest broker partners to grow our client base Act as primary point of contact for escalated client issues Develop and implement partner business plans and account strategies to drive engagement and retention Meet target revenue and adoption rates while focusing on customer penetration strategies Implement process improvements and develop standard operating procedures for account management Use data and analytics to drive decision‑making and process enhancements Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute account management strategies Align account management goals with overall business objectives Identify upselling and other opportunities with existing accounts to drive revenue growth Track and report on key performance metrics for the team Provide regular updates to senior leadership on performance and satisfaction The Experience You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience 8+ years in B2B sales or account management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote) Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce and analytics tools such as Tableau Strong leadership and people‑management skills Preferred experience in employee benefit or voluntary benefit programs Deep understanding of account‑management best practices Proven ability to build and maintain client and partner relationships Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Comfort with AI‑enabled tools, which play an increasing role in the organization Ready to work in‑office 3 days a week and travel up to 35% of the time Diversity is valued at Purchasing Power.
