Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)Location: Oakdale, CA Pay Rate: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday-Saturday | 1:45 PM - 11:00 PM Employment Type: ContractLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations for a growing production facility in Oakdale, California. This position is responsible for driving daily production performance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and leading production teams to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with manufacturing experience and a proven ability to develop teams, solve operational challenges, and drive results.ResponsibilitiesLead production team members in executing daily production plans while meeting quality, productivity, and cost standardsMonitor production activities and identify opportunities for process improvementsTroubleshoot operational issues and production bottlenecks through structured problem-solving methodsEnsure staffing, equipment, and materials are available to support production schedulesCoach, train, and develop employees through ongoing performance feedback and mentorshipSupport sanitation and operational activities to maintain a clean and food-safe manufacturing environmentEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsPromote workplace safety initiatives and support a strong safety cultureParticipate in daily planning activities and support delivery of operational goalsDrive adherence to standard work practices and continuous improvement initiativesLead shift handoff meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment between teamsQualificationsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience within food processing or food manufacturing environmentsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to resolve operational challenges while motivating and developing team membersContinuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving capabilitiesWork EnvironmentThis position is based in a manufacturing facility and may require:Standing and walking for extended periodsClimbing stairs and laddersBending, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasksLifting and carrying materials of varying weightsWorking around large moving equipmentExposure to varying temperatures and elevated noise levelsBenefitsBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
