HR Assistant Location: Hartford, CT Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (fully onsite) Employment Type: Temp (3+ month contract) Pay: $18.00/hour We are seeking an HR Assistant to provide administrative and employee support within a Human Resources department. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build or continue their career in Human Resources while gaining experience supporting employees and HR operations. Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources team. Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding general HR questions, policies, procedures, and available resources. Assist with employee relations documentation, correspondence, and recordkeeping. Maintain confidential employee files and HR information while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Assist with onboarding, employee changes, and other HR-related processes. Enter, update, and maintain employee information within HR systems and databases. Prepare reports, documents, spreadsheets, and other HR materials as needed. Provide professional customer service to employees, managers, and other internal departments. Assist with additional HR and administrative projects as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field OR approximately 5 years of equivalent professional experience. Previous Human Resources, employee relations, administrative, or customer service experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in English. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive employee information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, professional environment. Must be comfortable working fully on-site in Hartford, CT Monday through Friday. INDA
